Q15114 - INFO: How does Second Copy set password on compressed files?
Second Copy sets the password on each file individually within the zip file at the time of creating the compressed file. That means once you set the password, Second Copy would use that password on the files you compress subsequently. If you change the password, and if the source file has not changed, then the file at the destination will still have the old password. However, if the source file is changed or added after changing the password, then the next time the profile runs Second Copy would use the new password to compress the corresponding files at the destination.
