Sctemp.tmp files are temporary files used by Second Copy during the copying process. Second Copy first copies a source file to a file named SCTEMP.TMP in the destination folder. On successful completion of the copy, it renames it to the destination file. This is done to ensure that the old version of the destination file does not get destroyed if the system crashes before the copy completes.
If the destination file system does not support the renaming of the temporary files, you can bypass this behavior by setting the following option:
1. Select the profile and go to its Properties
2. From the "How?" tab, click on "Advanced Properties..."
3. Check "Copy directly to destination file (do not copy to temporary file)
4. Click "OK"
5. Click "Next"
6. Click "Finish"
