If you installed Second Copy 2000 while logged in as NT Administrator, non-administrator users may get access denied error while running the Profiles.
Solution:
Windows NT4/2000/XP/2003: (step I)
- Login as Administrator
- Run RegEdt32.exe and go to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Centered Systems\Second Copy 2000
- Select Security | Permissions to bring up the Registry Key Permissions dialog
- Select "Replace permission on existing Subkeys" and change the type of access for Everyone to Full Control
- Click OK to save the permissions
Windows NT4/2000/XP/2003: (step II)
- Login as Administrator
- Run RegEdt32.exe and go to the following key: HKEY_Current_User\Software\Centered Systems\Second Copy 2000
- Once you are in Registry editor, select the key "Second Copy 2000"
- Right mouse click and select Permissions
- Click on Add, and type "Everyone" in the "Enter the object names to select" box
- While Everyone is selected, check the box Allow next to "Full Control" under Permissions for Everyone section
- Click on Apply and then OK
This will allow Second Copy 2000 to run profiles under non-administrator users.
