Do you folks have a Linux (Mint, Ubuntu) version of your product? I have been using secondcopy for many years with Windows.

Admin reply: At present we do not have Second Copy for Linux.

Hi,
Love Second Copy but is there anyway to force a proper sync of empty folders - I know there is a setting to delete empty dest folders, but that's not what I want: I want it to delete those dest folders only if they have been deleted at the source?

Regards,

Martin

Admin reply: In the future, please send your questions via email to "Support@SecondCopy.com" Thank you!

Go to the Advanced Properties on the "How?" tab, then on the "Copy" tab, select "Always copy empty folders".

Hello

Just had a quick question. we have been using an older version of Second copy on a Windows server 2003 build. we are upgrading that server to Windows Server 2008 standard R2 64bit and was wondering if the latest version of your software will work on it?

Thank you

Admin reply: Second Copy 7 and Second Copy 8 both work with Windows Server 2008 (R2).

Hello,

sorry i tried your software today, but i cant use it. I think the reason is, that sc8 doesen't support SFTP protokoll.

There are a few pieces of software that I use daily for a number of years. My browser, email client and Second Copy. I started with second copy a long time ago and while lots of "favorite" programs are replaced by new favorites, Second Copy has maintained it's place as a top 3 program run daily. Thank you for the many years and anticipated future use!

Paul

Great program - it has saved me from grief a few times.

Like others have posted, I would love to see it sync with Amazon Cloud Drive or Google Drive. The sooner the better!

Love your product, but not using anymore because I'm now syncing my data to Google Drive with another inferior tool...are you planning to support Google Drive soon?

Admin reply: We have on our wish list to support copying to cloud storage, such as Google Drive, for a future version of Second Copy.

Greetings,

I am recent user of Second Copy and am a registered user. As a software and system designer for VMS and UNIX and Linus systems for 33 years, I know excellent software when I see it. Second Copy is one of those rarefied few software products that deserves the highest accolades. It is amazingly intuitive to use, plays very nicely with Microsoft Windows I/O system and get the job done silently and efficiently. I have two external 1 TB drives, F: and G: must be always an exact copy of F: and Second Copy performs this simple yet essential (for my data security and integrity) task superbly. I am one of those users (you now who you are) who have a RAID-1 system disk in my home office system and use an APC regulated, filtered backup battery uninterruptible power supply. All these things plus Second Copy make maintaining my data a breeze.
:!clap:
