Second Copy Guestbook

I downloaded the trial of secondcopy to see how well it would sync my data with my NAS device, and I must say that I'm very impressed. It has done exactly what I wanted with minimal fuss, and is very robust. I have it running on server 2012 R2 and it has ran without issue for the entire duration.

It syncs a media folder on 1 of my drives, and a documents folder on another drive, both to the NAS device. I have it setup to sync each folder at different times as to not tax the NAS CPU or network, and then run a few times a day to keep things fairly up to date.

I am very pleased with your product, thanks!!

Hi,
Love Second Copy but is there anyway to force a proper sync of empty folders - I know there is a setting to delete empty dest folders, but that's not what I want: I want it to delete those dest folders only if they have been deleted at the source?

Regards,

Martin

Admin reply: In the future, please send your questions via email to "Support@SecondCopy.com" Thank you!

Go to the Advanced Properties on the "How?" tab, then on the "Copy" tab, select "Always copy empty folders".

Hello

Just had a quick question. we have been using an older version of Second copy on a Windows server 2003 build. we are upgrading that server to Windows Server 2008 standard R2 64bit and was wondering if the latest version of your software will work on it?

Thank you

Admin reply: Second Copy 7 and Second Copy 8 both work with Windows Server 2008 (R2).

Hello,

sorry i tried your software today, but i cant use it. I think the reason is, that sc8 doesen't support SFTP protokoll.
